Export reports
Once Specwarden has completed a review, you can download the findings as a PDF or Word document. Both formats include the same content; choose whichever is easier to share with your team or attach to a design package.
Export formats
Rendered by pdfkit. The report includes a cover page showing the filename, detected standard (AIAG-VDA or AIAG-RPN), total row count, and a severity breakdown (Major, Minor, OFI counts). The findings list follows in order of severity. If post-action data is present in the DFMEA, an Action Effectiveness Summary table is appended per AIAG-VDA §2.6.3.
Identical content structure to the PDF — cover page, severity counts, findings list, and Action Effectiveness Summary if applicable. Because the file is editable, teams can annotate findings directly, add response notes, or incorporate the report into an existing design review package.
Free tier and paid tier
Free tier
Exported reports include a Specwarden watermark on every page. Only the first 5 findings are included in the export. The watermark and finding limit are removed when you upgrade to a paid plan — no need to re-run the review.
Pro and Pro Plus tier
Reports are clean and unbranded — no watermark, no finding limit. Ready to attach directly to design packages, customer deliverables, or PPAP documentation.
Email delivery
Before exporting, you can enter your email address to receive the report via email as well as downloading it directly. Email delivery is optional and uses a signed download link that expires after 24 hours. This is useful if you need to forward the report to a colleague or access it later without returning to the dashboard.
